Photo report from the Dominican Republic
On Monday we rode horses through the countryside (and a river). |
A local invited us in for coffee. This was his kitchen. |
His kids, my kids. |
Some street scenes. |
Then back to the beach…Yeah, we built sandmen. |

Liz would like to spend about 1 year in a Spanish-speaking country. I recommended Costa Rica. She is considering Guatamala. Would she like the Dominican Republic?

Was the coffee especially good?

funny you should ask. i’m not speaking in hyperbole when i say that it was close to the best i’ve ever tasted. it was some kind of muddy espresso goo. i wasn’t offered seconds, but i would have drunk myself sick given the opportunity.
