I spent the weekend with my nephew in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  A guy on the airplane convinced me to eat lunch at a car wash.  A car wash! I don’t know how many servings of lard the USDA recommends, but that trip to H & H car wash should cover me for a lifetime.



It occurred to me that New Mexicans really like their lard.  (And I suppose the old ones do too.)  A trip to a local grocery store confirmed my suspicions:

Tubs ‘o lard.  Too bad it doesn’t come in a squeeze bottle.
