Perhaps the dumbest idea yet.

I've never gone to a concert to see a "cover band".  Sure, I've seen plenty of lame-ass cover bands at festivals and that sort of thing, but I can't imagine going out of my way to see that sort of cheese.  Worse yet would be PLAYING in a cover band.  But there's a thought creeping into my head that won't go away.  I own a drumset that calls out "play me" every time I walk by it.  I can't ignore it forever.  Is it to late to make a New Year's resolution?  I've got to learn how to play drums this year, and get myself in a lame cover band.  What kind of music has moronically simple drumming?  80's pop-metal.  Here's the first song I MUST learn:  Twisted Sister - We're not gonna take it.  Is he wailing on a cowbell?  And what is he yelling at the end of the song?

In other news...Zach had his first sparring class.  He managed to get his arse whupped by a girl.  Luckily I captured it on video.  I'll be holding onto it for future blackmail purposes.

I support this fully. In fact, I think you should start a cover band for a cover band. Like, pick a sucky cover band and play your rendtion of their rendition of a classic group's songs. Like, covering Oasis, who covered the Beatles (j/k, I actually dig Oasis).

Or, you can start a cover band that only covers songs from one hit wonders! Or one that covers the lamest, most unpopular band ever. Or start a children's cover band with Zach and Asia. The possibilities are endless!

I think it's hilarious that you captured Zach's arse-whupping on film!

I'd post it on the internet, but something tells me that might not be healthy for his long term psyche.
