Where has Old Man Neill been? In his bedroom building crap. I'm obsessed with building bookshelves. An entire wall of my bedroom is now covered with maple and birch bookshelves. I don't read THAT much. I doubt I even own enough books to fill those stupid shelves. I've been working around the clock on this project for the past five days. But time's up. I'm back to watching Asia tomorrow. That means I won't be done with the bedroom for at least a month.
New year's eve we attended "First Night Pittsburgh". It was cool seeing crowds walking the streets of Pittsburgh. It reminded me of auto-free urban photos from the WWI era. My enthusiasm waned after standing in a few lines. Lines make me pissy. I've heard the French are notorious for their inability to stand in line. Maybe those damn frogs have some sense after all.
