Young Man Neill

File this under "no one cares but you, Old Man Neill".  I found some ancient real-to-real tapes.  One predates my birth.  It's my brother ad-libbing some weird-ass dialog.  He claims he was doing both voices.  Considering he was just 14, it's remarkable on several levels.  The other clip is my brother and I doing our "Jeff and Larry" routine.  I was only 4 years old.  Based on the recording, I can only conclude that I must have been one annoying child.

hah, in uncle Tom's dialogue i was hearing traces of Christian and or Seth but later it seemed mostly like Jesse Tomes. In the other one you just sound like a kid, maybe a little like Zach. Tom's Tom. Whoah, but his "The End" sounds like Christian.

That reminded me that Justin and I did something like this when we were little but we thought we were the funniest people in the world and we were 7 and 9 and i remember it being unintelligible through the laughing even then.

You sounded a lot like Zach. The way you'd talk and even the laugh. That's hilarious, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree that's for sure. I'm also impressed that you were able to whistle at 4.

at some point in the recording i do a real low whistle.  i can't do that any more, i don't know anyone that can.  i did it by curling up my tongue and blowing softly.  i was a weirdo.
