My kids wanted a cat.  So we went to a shelter, and took three kittens for a test drive.  I rubbed the kids faces with cat fur.  Better to find out about allergies sooner, rather than later.  Zach coughed and got itchy.  That was that.  No cat for us.  I have to admit I was a little happy.  I didn't really want another cat.  Before Asia was born, we had Dizzy - a moody cat that would crap on my stuff.  I liked Dizzy, but who needs that?  I sent Dizzy packing.  Half-way home from the shelter, Asia wanted a tissue.  She was whining about something.  She demanded more tissues.  I figured she was just tired and cranky.  By the time we got home she was acting crazy.  I opened the car door and nearly shat.  She looked like a misshapen beast.  Holy crap.  I guess she's allergic to cats too.  Not to worry though.  A few days later her princess face returned.
